One down......

So far so good on the home teaching front! I think it went well--we "crammed" for a chemistry exam tomorrow--three chapters in an hour, I shared my uber note/test/taking skills. I will be in the building tomorrow, so I will try and pop in to wish him luck. He is very, very bright, just very, very behind.

In other news, I had a blessed day off, and got to sleep in. The new dryer is being installed.... so far Scott hasn't electrocuted himself. (wink!) I am exicted--I did a few loads of wash to get ready.

The girls got to "enjoy" the sunshine today while out (forcibly) picking up dog poo from the yard. They are actually pretty good about taking care of the puppy--er.... well... he will hit six months old tomorrow and I am pretty sure he is pushing 70 pounds now. But he is still alllll baby. I will make sure to get some of his pics on here too.

I talked to Susie and Dan tonight, and they sound good too. (well, I talk to them every night...but...anyways!) Susie has open house tomorrow night, and it was fun to hear about what she was getting ready for it. Dan has kindergarten orientation coming up--wow! Doesn't seem possible.

Alannah was invited to go on TV for being in the play--I guess she will get interviewed or something. That sounds like a lot of fun, and she missed out the last time they did it because it was a travel weekend.

Anyone with an interest in education should look into Ken Robinson and his new book The Element. Very interesting.

Ok--gotta go help out da man! Have a great night!
